How we can help you

Pupil Welfare – how we can help you

The health, safety and well-being of every child in our school is of paramount importance to us. Our aim is that children enjoy & achieve in their time as pupils at this school. Whilst we would never claim to get it right all the time, we are proud of the fact that Ofsted has, on successive occasions, validated the quality of our pupil welfare & safeguarding provision

“The school’s work to keep pupils safe and secure is outstanding.” (Ofsted, July 2014)

Equally, we value your affirmation and truly appreciate your continuing endorsement of the care & support that we provide your children.

96% of parents who completed our end-of-year parental survey, based on an average of the last 3 years , agreed with the statement - My child is safe and well looked after in school.

One of the key factors in maintaining our high standards of pupil welfare & safeguarding is our Pupil Welfare Group (PWG). This group meets on a weekly basis to discuss a wide range of pupil welfare issues. This group consists of Mrs Giblett, Mr Galler, Mrs Williams, Mrs Morris and Mrs Truen who, between us all, have a wealth of experience and expertise in supporting children and families.
